Robotics Summer Meetings

Our Robotics team will begin their summer meetings tomorrow, July 12.  They will meet from 9am - 12pm.  Below is a list of meeting dates:

Attention Cheerleaders and Cheerleader Parents

There will be a mandatory meeting for all EBMS Cheerleaders on Thursday, June 15th at 5:00 in the gym.  All girls will be sized for uniforms and receive information for the upcoming season.  If you are unable to make it, please contact Coach Poole as soon as possible to make other arrangements.  If you have not paid please make sure you pay on Thursday.  Uniforms will not be ordered without payment.  Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone there!

Parents please read - important information

All medications including prescription, over the counter, and emergency medications (such as inhalers and epi-pens) must be signed out in the office and picked up by Friday, June 9th.  Any medications left on campus after June 9th will be disposed of per the BCPS medication policy.  If your child has any medications on campus that you feel they will need for summer EOG and/or reading camp, please let office staff know when you pick the medications up so that they can give you a copy of the order and you will still need to sign the medications out and pick them up in the office by Friday, June 9th.  You will then bring the medicationsand order to the office and sign them back in on the first day of EOG and/or reading camps.  Again, all medications left in the office after Friday, June 9th will be disposed of.

Open Enrollment for Transfer Requests

Attention parents, 

The open enrollment period for student transfer requests ends Wednesday, May 31, 2017. The transfer request fee during open enrollment is $50. After May 31, the processing fee will be $100.  

You are required to fill out a student transfer request ONLY if you are requesting enrollment at a school outside of your district.  

If you already have an approved transfer to the school your child currently attends, you are not required to complete a new transfer request UNLESS the student is a fifth grader advancing to a middle school or an eighth grader advancing to a high school outside his or her district.    

The following schools cannot accept transfers:  Forest Hill Elementary, Mountain Crest Elementary, Rutherford College Elementary, Salem Elementary, North Liberty School, Liberty Middle, and Patton High.

End of Grade Test - Help Needed!

We are dire need of proctors for our end of grade test. We really need volunteers for the following dates: May 30, May 31, June 1, June 2, and June 5. Volunteers are only needed for 3-4 hours each day beginning at 8:15 am. If you are available, even if it is just for one of these days, please contact our school office ASAP at 828-397-7446.
